Lord IMB 3020 and IMB 3030 in-mold bonding (IMB) adhesives are for bonding addition-cured silicone rubber to metal and compatible plastic substrates.

During injection or compression molding process, two-component adhesives can bond addition-cured silicone rubbers to metal substrates and compatible plastic substrates, including polycarbonates, polyphenylsulfones, polyetherimides, some polyamides, some elastomers and other thermoplastics. Reportedly permit easy application, do not require extreme temperatures for curing, and generate bonds that withstand 85°C at 85% relative humidity for 14 days. Applications include consumer electronics, automotive components, medical devices, and household items.
