TOKYO – Oki Electric Industry Co. reported fiscal first half 2021 net sales of 173.5 billion yen (US$1.67 billion), down 20.6% year-over-year.

For the period ended Sept. 30, the EMS company posted a net loss per share of 62.9 billion yen, compared to net income per share of 46.9 billion yen in the prior-year period.

Operating loss was 2.6 billion yen, compared to operating income of 5.2 billion yen in the first half of fiscal 2020.

Oki Electric projects full year 2021 net sales of 405 billion yen, compared to 457.2 billion in fiscal 2020.
