TEWKSBURY, MA – Mycronic US integrated its operations into a new 102,000 sq. ft. facility here. This brings together the Global Technologies division comprised of MRSI Systems, AEi and the US operations of Mycronic’s High Flex division.

The facility will help Mycronic better meet the requirements of future growth, customer needs and enable a stronger Mycronic identity in the US, the firm says.

The new building contains newly renovated office spaces, production areas, customer lounges, modern demonstration rooms, as well as enhanced training facilities. The production areas include a filtration system to meet assembly needs, clean rooms and exhaust systems for all labs.

“Our new facility will enable our US operations to scale successfully, sharing resources and collaborating on exciting new developments for our customers,” said Michael Chalsen, senior VP Global Technologies div. president, Mycronic US.

The building design was driven by a green agenda, encompassing a tankless water system in production, low flush and self-flushing toilets, energy star-certified appliances, new electrical systems and reverse osmosis water systems for bottle water-filling stations.

Finally, the communication system is built on a high-speed ethernet service, including fiber optics and Wi-Fi, enhancing online training and support capabilities.

Mycronic US is now hosting customer and supplier visits by appointment, with extensive Covid-19 protocols in place to ensure a safe environment for both employees and visitors.
