EINDHOVEN, THE NETHERLANDS – To mitigate the risk and the impact of the coronavirus, Neways is closely monitoring its supply chain, informing customers on a regular basis and taking multiple actions to protect the company’s workforce.

Neways has banned visitors from entering the premises until further notice, unless business is critical. The firm is encouraging its office workers to work remotely as much as possible, while ensuring a close collaboration with production and external partners.

Shifts and breaks are staggered for production employees to enable workers to keep physical distance from each other.

In the past weeks, Neways has set up a business continuity team that is working on different scenarios to ensure business stays up and running. The firm has not experienced unmanageable impacts on its supply chain thus far.

Neways is applying the rules and guidelines of the local governments and encourages following advice provided by the World Health Organization and other authorities.

The company will continue to monitor and deal with the effects of the coronavirus and will provide regular updates.
