TOKYO – Smart Factory Expo will be held at Tokyo BigSite Feb. 12-14, in conjunction with RoboDex and the Wearable Expo.

The show will feature IoT/IT, artificial intelligence, systems/software for manufacturing, FA equipment robots, and a smart logistics zone.  

Toshiba will give the keynote on digitalization in manufacturing and the company’s strategy.

Ricoh Industry and PTC Japan will provide case studies for the use of IoT and augmented reality in smart manufacturing. Kewpie and Denso will present examples of the use of AI in manufacturing. Ground and Optimind will discuss AI and robots for smart logistics. Fujitsu and Okuma will provide lessons from past efforts to develop a smart factory. Teradyne and Mazda will discuss the automation of inspection in smart factories, while Omron and Yamaha Motor will present case studies on the use of robotics.  

Launched in 2017, Smart Factory Expo is now Japan's largest exhibition for smart factory solutions.
