MINNEAPOLIS, MN – The SMTA has elected its board of directors for the term beginning Sept. 22.

Julie Silk, Keysight Technologies; Ivan Roman, Continental Powertrain; and Robert Boguski, Datest have been newly elected.

Those remaining on the board include president Jeff Kennedy; treasurer Robert Kinyanjui, Ph.D., John Deere Electronic Solutions; VP communications, Sal Sparacino, Zestron Americas; VP tech programs, Richard Coyle, Ph.D., Nokia Bell Labs; VP expos, Debbie Carboni, Kyzen; and VP membership, Gregory Vance, Rockwell Automation.

Strategic development committee members include chairperson Bill Cardoso, Ph.D., Creative Electron; William Capen, Honeywell FM&T; and Tim Jensen, Indium.

The SMTA bids farewell to departing board members Martin Anselm, Ph.D., Rochester Institute of Technology; Matt Kelly, P.Eng., MBA, IBM; and Richard Henrick, Sanmina.

The official transition will occur at the next meeting scheduled at SMTAI.
