TAIPEI -- Foxconn Electronics reported consolidated revenues ticked up 0.4% to NT$339.6 billion ($10.5 billion) in March.

Sales were up 21% sequentially on higher demand for consumer electronics, computing devices and communication devices, the ODM/EMS said.

First-quarter consolidated revenues are down 5.6% from a year ago to NT$957.9 billion ($29.6 billion). Still, the company's first-quarter revenue alone would have been enough to make it the second-largest ODM/EMS company in the world last year.
