In the U.S., demand for electronics products is expected to be good, according to chairman Terry Gou, as declining housing and auto markets in the U.S. push consumers toward home-based recreation, the Economic Daily reported. However, the effects of the U.S. subprime meltdown remain a question, Gou says.
