SCARA robots provide high-performance robot control, motion control, and machine automation from single controller.

Designed for pick and place, assembly and dispensing. Four robots extend from 400mm arm range and 3kg max. load capacity to 700mm arm range and 6kg max. load capacity. Reportedly achieve high cyclic throughput and precision with high repeatability. Powered by four Trio MX series servo motors individually controlled by Trio DX4 servo drive. Drives are enhanced by EtherCAT update rates as low as 125us. DX4 reportedly can deliver 350% overload for dynamic applications, as well as multiturn 23-bit encoders. Trio motion coordinator can control overall machine. Motion coordinators are based on high-speed synchronization of up to 128 axes with up to 64-bit precise motion calculations. MC664-X can control up to four SCARA robots simultaneously, while pocket-sized Flex-6 Nano can control two SCARAs. Trio RPS software includes 3-D simulation to create virtual twin. RPS includes Virtual Teach Pendant.
