TAIPEI – Foxconn reported record sales for the month of April and reiterated its expectations for a rise in revenue for the second quarter.

The company said that while the second quarter remains a traditional off-peak season with major products entering a period of transition between old and new products, its operations outlook is expected to show both quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year growth.

For April, Foxconn saw revenue reach NT$510.9 billion ($15.8 billion), marking a year-over-year rise of 19% and representing the highest revenue on record for the month. Revenue in its smart consumer electronics products, including smartphones, showed significant growth, and strong AI server demand also delivered strong growth for its cloud and networking products segment, the company said.
