TAIPEI – Foxconn said it has gradually resumed normal production after shutting down some of its Taiwan manufacturing lines after a major earthquake off the island's east coast.

The company said it shut down its lines for inspection, and the earthquake only had very slight operational and financial impacts on its operations with no damage to equipment.
