Report: Cal-Comp to Expand in Indiana

LOGANSPORT, IN -- New Kinpo Group will reportedly expand its EMS operations here, possibly tripling its workforce.
The site, operated by Kinpo subsidiary Cal-Comp USA, currently employs about 400 workers. That number could increase to between 1,000 and 1,500 as the company expands its manufacturing capabilities this year.
Kinpo is adding capacity to handle higher demand for its XYZprinting 3D printers and Dyson vacuum cleaners. The firm forecasts overall revenue could climb 20% in the coming year.
Cal-Comp acquired the site in September 2010 from Total Electronics.
