KULAIJAYA, JOHOR, MALAYSIA -- Beyonics Technology is pouring about $10 million in a new 288,000 sq ft. facility here, where the EMS company will build everything from electronics assemblies to metal enclosures and frames.

The site is scheduled to come online in 2015. Beyonics will close its factories in Senai and Tampoi, Johor, once the new campus is fully operational.

Once a billion dollar EMS enterprise, Beyonics is recovering after seeing its revenue fall by at least half. The firm went private in 2012 and switched its focus to automotive from hard disk drives.
