SOLON, OH -- EMS firm Techtron Industries plans to invest $5 million in a new 70,000 sq. ft. factory here, aided by a city grant worth up to $48,000 per year.

 

The contract printed circuit board assembler said the new plant would go online by December. Per an agreement with Solon, Techtron will employ 75 workers by the end of 2011 and 105 workers by the end of 2014.

The company's existing site, also in the Cleveland suburb of Mayfield Village, would be closed, according to published reports.
According to published reports, the city grant could pay out $48,000 per year, depending on the number of jobs created and overall payroll.
