KEMPELE, FINLAND -- PKC Group will close on its previously announced acquisition of wiring harnesses manufacturer Segu on April 30.

Segu, which has plants in Germany, Poland and Ukraine, manufactures for the automotive and construction equipment sectors. In 2010, the Segu companies generated consolidated net sales of EUR 37.9 million, up from 26.5 million euros in 2009, and EBITDA rose to 3.8 million euros from 3 million euros in 2009. The group employs nearly 1,100 workers.

PKC signed an agreement on Feb. 28 to purchase shares in Segu.
