LEUVEN, BELGIUM – Metris has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of X-Tek Group's stock, the companies announced. No other terms were disclosed.

Metris designs and builds 3-D hardware and software inspection systems, with a focus on the automotive and aerospace markets.

X-Tek, which makes x-ray and computer tomography inspection systems, employs about 75 workers, and has an installed base of more than 1,300 systems, according to the company.
