Goepel Releases StingRay Detector for AXI
StingRay Detector automatic x-ray inspection enables selective 2D, 2.5D and 3D z-ray inspection.
Consists of a high-speed x-y axis and flat-panel detector balances image quality and cycle time. Is said to improve layer separation and image resolution, especially on 3D images of selected areas. By a scalable number of acquired projections, a high quality of the layer separation is achieved. 3D reconstruction of images is performed by planar CT. Can be configured according to the inspection task, with up to three detector sizes with a resolution of 1.3 to 6MP available. X-ray source has stepless height adjustment. Detector distance to module can also be varied in three steps, resulting in different image field sizes and resolutions depending on the specific requirements.
