PHELPS, NY – Z-AXIS has hired Carmen Sapp, an experienced customer service professional, as its new Sales Manager. Carmen brings 26 years of customer service experience to the Rochester-area company, which provides electronic design and manufacturing services all under one roof. Z-AXIS was founded in 1989 and is locally owned and managed.

“I’ve hired a lot of Sales Manager over the years, but I’ve finally found the right person for the job,” said Michael Allen, Z-AXIS’ President. “Customers wanted to be served rather than sold to”, Allen explained, “and Carmen’s experience and focus on customer service makes her ideal for her role with us.”

Carmen joined Z-AXIS in February and combines a dedication to customer service with a skilled approach to operations and management. She is also a strong information technology professional and a graduate of the Ray-Vogue College of Design in Chicago, Illinois. Before joining Z-AXIS, Carmen was a site manager for Calvin Klein and a Store Leader for Kate Spade New York.

“In the short time she’s been with us, Carmen has adapted well to our culture already,” Michael Allen added. “’Never be surprised that you’re surprised’ is a saying at Z-AXIS for reason,” Allen continued, “and Carmen joins a great group of employees, including an internal auditing team that was recently credited for the best quality management system that our ISO registrar says she’s ever seen.”
