OSLO, NORWAY – Kitron reported fourth-quarter revenue of $252.5 million, up 46% from $173.5 million in the same period last year, driven by strong demand in the defence/aerospace market sector. Operating profit (EBIT) rose to $24.3 million from $12.8 million.

Profit after tax for the quarter totaled $18.6 million, compared with $5.3 million a year earlier. 

The order backlog reached a record $766.3 million at year-end, up 50% year over year and 19% sequentially, providing visibility into 2026.

Kitron raised its 2026 outlook, now expecting revenue between $973 million and $1.14 billion, compared with its previous guidance of $925 million to $1.02 billion. Operating profit is expected between $90.9 million and $116.9 million, up from the prior range of $83.4 million to $100.7 million.

CEO Peter Nilsson said the company delivered a step-up in revenue and margins while strengthening its platform through capacity expansions and the DeltaNordic acquisition.
