CARSON CITY, NV – Rocket EMS announced it has begun electronics manufacturing operations in a newly acquired 50,000 sq. ft. facility here.

“SMT lines are up and running; system assembly areas are humming; and this new facility in every respect is becoming a larger copy of our Santa Clara facility, thus doubling Rocket’s production capacity while providing customers with a disaster recovery/risk mitigation solution,” said founder and president Michael Kottke.

The company, which was founded in 2011 in the Silicon Valley, also operates a 36,000 sq. ft. plant in Santa Clara.

“Santa Clara and Carson are seamlessly linked through our Voyager MES software to provide the highest level of quality, visibility and operational excellence,” Kottke said.

Rocket EMS was the CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY EMS Company of the Year in 2019.
