MILPITAS, CA – With a special permit, the Zollner Elektronik plant here will resume production despite the lockdown.

Two medical technology customers were classified as essential businesses in Santa Clara County. The firms’ products are for potential coronavirus test systems. Other undisclosed customers are also working toward restarting production, Zollner said.

Zollner employees returning to their workplaces must comply with appropriate regulations, including keeping six feet away from each other at all times.
