TAIPEI – Foxconn is acquiring Microsoft Mobile Vietnam for a consideration of $22 million, according to reports.

The deal follows Foxconn’s May decision to sell its feature phone assets to FIH Mobile and HMD Global. Chief Expertise, an FIH Mobile unit, is the direct buyer of Microsoft Mobile Vietnam.

The $22 million is expected to be paid within seven business days of the transaction's close.
