OLATHE, KS -- Tier IV EMS firm and OEM Elecsys swung to a fiscal fourth quarter net profit of $402,000 as higher sales boosted earnings.
Sales for the quarter ended April 30 rose 45% from last year to $6.8 million. Elecsys took a net loss of $20,000 in the year ago quarter.
For the fiscal year ended April 30, EMS sales were up 40% to $13.8 million on higher overall demand. Total sales for the fiscal year increased 38% to $23.6 million. Net income totaled $872,000, up from a net loss of $674,000 last year.
