BURLINGTON, MA – Essemtec, a global leader in adaptive and highly flexible SMT pick-and-place and dispensing equipment, with in particular All-in-One Solutions embedding dispensing, mounting and 2D inspections in one equipment, is proud to announce the opening of its brand-new demo center in Burlington, Massachusetts. Less than 18 months after launching its previous facility in Newton, the company has moved to a significantly larger and more modern space to meet the rapidly growing demand for customer demos, training, and collaboration.

This expansion is a clear reflection of Essemtec’s momentum and the strong market response to its solutions in North America. “The response to our Newton lab was fantastic—so much so that we quickly outgrew the space,” said Don Jeka, Business Development Manager for Essemtec USA. “Our move to Burlington enables us to better support customer demand and expand our capabilities with a more advanced setup.”

The new demo lab is located within Nano Dimension’s cutting-edge campus, giving customers a unique opportunity to not only explore Essemtec’s state-of-the-art SMT solutions, but also experience innovations in Additively Manufactured Electronics (AME) and advanced Digital Manufacturing technologies offered by Nano Dimension. This environment fosters cross-technology collaboration and represents the future of agile, high-mix manufacturing.

Equipped with the latest Essemtec solutions—including the PUMA All-in-One, FOX All-in-One, and the Lizard reflow oven—the Burlington facility is designed to showcase the entire SMT process, from jetting and placement to reflow and inspection. The center also features a dedicated off-line station, where visitors can explore Smart Material Management, recipe preparation, job planning, and the full digital workflow essential for modern, efficient electronics production.

Customers can bring their own boards and data for live demos and benchmark testing, enabling them to evaluate solutions in real-world scenarios and see firsthand how Essemtec’s flexible, modular systems adapt to their specific needs.

Beyond demos, the lab includes modern meeting rooms and office spaces to support customer engagement, engineering collaboration, and training sessions for representatives and users alike. “We’ve created a space that’s not just about machines—it’s about building relationships, offering technical expertise, and helping customers solve their specific challenges,” added Jeka.

The facility will also serve as a hub for industry education and community-building activities, including local SMTA events, training programs, and internal meetings for the growing Essemtec Americas team.

“Our rapid expansion is a strong validation of Essemtec’s approach: providing flexible, high-performance solutions backed by excellent customer support,” said Jeka. “This new facility reflects our ongoing investment in our customers and the future of electronics manufacturing.”

With this move, Essemtec reinforces its position as a forward-thinking technology leader in the SMT industry. The Burlington demo center is a testament to the company’s success and commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions tailored to today’s manufacturing challenges. In addition to the new demo lab, Essemtec has also relocated its USA office from Waltham to the Burlington facility. By combining the demo center and office under one roof, Essemtec enhances its ability to serve customers and visitors with greater efficiency, convenience, and collaboration.
