1. Compunetics -- Sales Engineer

Compunetics is currently seeking an Outside Sales Engineer to manage all customer activity within assigned territories. This candidate is also expected to develop and maintain customer relationships within their assigned territories and manage any sales representative firm(s) in those territories. The ideal candidate will be experienced in selling to both contract manufacturers and OEMs and should have a strong background in selling to the Defense Industry. The position will be expected to develop program knowledge within the customer base and use that knowledge to secure contracts. We are looking for a candidate that is located in the Dallas, Atlanta or Boston metro area.

Requirements include:

*         Bachelor's of science in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Chemical) is highly preferred, but the demonstration of technical knowledge of printed circuit boards will be considered in lieu of technical degree.  A bachelor’s degree is required.
*         2-5 years of outside sales experience required; printed circuit board sales experience preferred, but electronics distribution experience in an alternative.
*         Ability to read and comprehend technical documents
*         Strong communication skills
*         Ability to travel up to 60% to assigned territories for customer meetings and to gain preferred supplier status
*         Ability to set up a home office and work from home
