Celestica Reports Q4 Revenue Down 14%, Earnings Reach $31M Print E-mail

TORONTOCelestica Inc. today reported fourth-quarter revenue of $1.66 billion, down 14.4% year-over-year.

Net earnings were $31.1 million, compared to a net loss of $822.2 million for the same period last year.

The firm’s revenue coincides with previous guidance for fourth-quarter 2009 revenue of $1.55 billion to $1.70 billion.

For full-year 2009, revenue was $6.1 billion, down about 21% compared to 2008.

Net earnings for the year were $55 million, compared to a net loss of $720.5 million last year.

For the first quarter ending March 31, the company anticipates revenue to be in the range of $1.45 billion to $1.60 billion.
