NAMPA, ID -- Plexus Inc. this week laid off 35 full-time employees and 100 part-time workers here, but reiterated its commitment to the Boise area assembly site. The cuts represent about 7% of the company's full-time staffing in Nampa. Plexus now has 460 employees at the site. "It's something we regret doing, but something we felt was needed in this economic environment," Plexus CFO Ginger Jones was quoted as telling a local television outlet. She said Plexus remains "very committed to the Nampa site, we like the area and the workforce - we hope to be able grow there in the future."
