NEW YORK – KPS Capital Partners announced Pierre de Villemejane will advise the company as it pursues investments in the capital equipment, engineered products and assembly industries in North America and Europe. de Villemejane, who speared the turnaround of Speedline Technologies, is experienced in assembly, sales, sourcing and distribution of finished products and components. The former Cookson executive was tapped to run Speedline when KPS acquired it in November 2003. KPS sold Speedline to ITW last year. KPS is considering standalone investments in operating companies, and the acquisition of businesses operating as subsidiaries or divisions of large multinational companies.
