SOUTHAMPTON, UK – ACW Technology Ltd. and Silicon Forest Electronics have formed a partnership under which the two companies will share certain facilities around the world with each other’s customers.
Under the agreement, SFE's customers will have access to ACW's purchasing, manufacturing and assembly services in China. In return, ACW customers will have access to SFE’s manufacturing, repair and distribution services in the U.S. ACW has a 50,000 sq. ft. factory in Southampton, a 20,000 sq. ft. plant in South Wales, UK, and an 80,000 sq. ft. site in Guangdong, China. It employs 400 staff and has reported sales of $90 million. SFE operates a 45,000-sq. ft. site in Vancouver, WA, where it employs 110 workers and has sales of $20 million.
