| Dr. Hwang Named to Commerce Department Export Council |

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has named industry veteran Dr. Jennie S. Hwang to the District Export Council. Her four-year term begins this month and runs through Dec. 31, 2011. Dr. Hwang is a noted inventor, lecturer and author. She was the first woman to be named director of technology at Lockheed Martin, has also launched a pair of companies. The Council promotes U.S. export and international trade to help build a strong national economy.
