MINNEAPOLIS -- AOI and SPI OEM CyberOptics took a net loss of $6.5 million for the quarter ended Dec. 31 as revenue fell sharply in its fiscal fourth quarter. The inspection equipment maker reported sales of $5.8 million, down from $11.5 million in the September quarter and from $13.8 million last year. CyberOptics announced a 10% workforce reduction in December.
