MUNICH – X-ray inspection OEM MatriX Technologies has established a new production and service subsidiary in Singapore. MatriX Inspection Systems will install and service AXI machines in Asia, where MatriX has installed about 50 systems at four large production sites during the past year. "We are happy to announce the opening of our Singapore subsidiary and new hardware assembling platform which – in combination with our established R&D, software and application know-how provided by our German headquarters – will position MatriX for further growth in the Asian market place which we consider as the key growth market for industrial AXI inspection solutions over the next years," said company spokesman Marc Sperschneider. "With the implementation of a new regional service support structure, we will further improve our local customer reach as well as response times on service and spare-parts requests from our Asian customers.”
