| EMS Extends Services with Applied Assembly Acquisition |

THATCHAM, BERKSHIRE, UK -- Electronic Manufacturing Solutions Ltd. (EMS) has acquired Applied Assembly for an undisclosed amount. Southampton-based Applied Assembly is a manufacturer of cable and electromechanical assemblies. The company has a 4,500 sq. ft. site. which will be paired with EMS's 5,700 sq. ft. facility. "This comes at a perfect time and provides a vast range of opportunities for EMS" said Bernard Chubb, managing director of EMS. "We have achieved an outstanding level of growth over the last two years and we want to enhance this with investments of this nature".
