BANNOCKBURN, IL – IPC has updated its sample ordering agreement covering terms and conditions for EMS contracts.

Designed to encourage discussion between OEM customers and their contract electronics manufacturers during negotiations, the 20-page sample agreement also covers specific contracting issues such as inventory liability, order modification, cancellations and deferments.

Sections on export controls and conflict minerals have been added to help companies address recent regulatory changes.

The sample document covers definitions, terms, termination, ordering, forecasts, shipment and delivery, pricing, other costs, new products, invoicing, cost savings, environmental laws, export controls, conflict minerals, product warranties and disclaimers.
