EDINA, MN -- SMTA reported more than 1,000 registrants representing over 520 companies and 26 countries for its annual SMTAI trade show this year.

The event took place Oct. 14-18, in Orlando, FL.

The good news was the roughly 155 exhibiting companies packed the sold-out exhibit hall, up 20% from last year. The show also has more large equipment on display than ever before.

On the downside, attendance fell from last year, when SMTA reported 1,600 attendees for its show in Ft. Worth, TX. It was also down from 2010, when SMTA last hosted the show in Orlando.
