TAIPEI Hon Hai reported non-consolidated revenues in September of $8.02 billion, up 8.2% sequentially, slightly less than expected.

Experts predicted Hon Hai would see more than 10% sequential revenue gains in September, according to published reports.

The firm’s non-consolidated revenues for the month were up 8.46% year-over-year.

Hon Hai reported $23.7 billion in the third quarter, down 2.55% sequentially, with $74.37 billion in the first three quarters, up 20.4% year-over-year.

The firm expects overall iPhone 5 shipments to gradually increase.

Hon Hai’s subsidiary, Foxconn, saw consolidated revenues in September increase 38.4% sequentially to $560.83 million, a new 35-month high, say reports.

The growth is attributed to an increase in orders for Wii U from Nintendo, totaling $1.28 billion in the third quarter, up 105.8% sequentially.
