| Asteelflash Acquires EN ElectronicNetwork, Nears $1B in Revenue |

PARIS -- Asteelflash will acquire EN ElectronicNetwork for an undisclosed sum, creating Europe's second-largest EMS with pro forma revenues of almost $1 billion. AsteelFlash already is a Top 20 electronics manufacturing services company, with revenue of $780 million in 2011. ElectronicNetwork is Germany’s second-largest EMS, behind Zollner, and had revenue of $181 million in 2011. The company has 700 employees across eight plants in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Romania. It focuses on the industrial, defense and aerospace, medical and automotive end-markets. “We greatly value customer service and wish to maintain a close relationship between our clients and our plants in order to provide best solutions for design, engineering and manufacturing, said Gilles Benhamou, president and CEO of Asteelflash. "Our ambition is to become Europe's [No. 1] EMS.” Asteelflash has 23 manufacturing sites in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America and has 5,700 employees.
