SVI’s Q2 Net Profit Down 37.4% YoY PDF Print E-mail

PATHUMTHANI, THAILAND – Electronics manufacturing services provider SVI Public Co. Ltd. reported second-quarter 2012 consolidated revenue of Baht 2.07 billion, up 29% sequentially, and down 15.7% year-over-year.

Consolidated net profit for the quarter was Baht 154 million, or 7% of revenue, down 37.4% year-over-year.

The firm says the new facility and equipment were completed during the quarter, and manufacturing capacity is operating at 80% of pre-flood capacity. Demand has returned to normal levels, driven by back order fulfillment and additional business.
