New Brazilian Foxconn Plants to Hire 5,000 Workers PDF Print E-mail

TAIPEI -- Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai) is gearing up to begin volume production at five new plants in Brazil, according to reports.

The new sites, each of which will employ some 1,000 workers, will build liquid crystal displays (LCD) for Apple.

Foxconn reportedly already builds iPads and iPhones in Brazil.
