| ITW’s Electronics Business Up 21% |

GLENVIEW, IL – Illinois Tool Works reported a year-over-year operating revenue increase of 14% for the three months ended Oct. 31. The power systems and electronics segment posted a rise in revenue of 21 % year-over-year. The unit includes Speedline Technologies, Vitronics-Soltec and other leading brands. The fourth-quarter forecast assumes a total revenue growth range of 9.5% to 12.5%. For the 2011 full-year, ITW forecasts total revenue growth between 15.1% and 15.9%.
