SUWANEE, GA – ASM Assembly Systems Americas has named Otto Waters chief executive. He replaces Butch Garrison, who had been with the former Siemens placement equipment unit in various roles since January 1995. Waters joined Siemens in 1987 and has held a variety of roles since, culminating as director of business development. For the past two years, he ran his own consulting group. Before coming to Siemens, he had roles in engineering at Excellon and Micronetics.
