MILPITAS, CA -- The Solar Engineering & Manufacturing Association will meet here Sept. 22 to discuss the global photovoltaic technology outlook. The meeting will feature consultant Paula Mints, who will cover PV supply and demand, price and technology, and forecasts for the next five years. The group also will cover opportunities and potential obstacles for the North American PV market as well as applications and forecasts through 2019. Mints is a director of Navigant Consulting’s Energy Practice and principal analyst for the Solar Services Market Research Program. She is executive editor of the Solar Outlook newsletter and Concentrating Solar newsletter. SEMA is a member-driven educational, technical and professional association serving the solar manufacturing and related industries as an indispensible resource for key stakeholders in research, manufacturing, academia and government.
