MUNICH -- Placement machine manufacturer deliveries increased almost 60% sequentially in the second quarter, making it the strongest quarter since 2000. Year-over-year, deliveries are up almost 400%, according to analysis released today by Siemens' Siplace business unit. The positive trend is evident in all regions, though China accounted for over 60% of machine shipments in the quarter.
