NEENAH, WI -- Electronics manufacturing services provider Plexus will temporarily suspend operations in one of its Oradea, Romania, plants after a fire broke out after hours.

The fire occurred after production hours while the building was unoccupied, the company said, adding damage was limited to a portion of non-production space.

The company, which has two plants in Oradea, said operations in the building would be suspended until at least Thursday morning (local time) to provide sufficient time to complete a full assessment of the damage.

In a statement, senior vice president, Global Manufacturing Operations Mike Buseman said, "Our team onsite in Oradea is actively managing plans to resume operations as quickly as possible. We remain committed to protecting our customer's continuity of supply."
