MILPITAS, CA -- Solectron Corp. last night reported third-quarter net earnings of $42.4 million on sales of $2.7 billion. The numbers reversed a loss of $66.7 million on $2.6 billion in revenue a year ago. Solectron earned $38.9 million in gross profits, not including one-time charges and other items.
