ANAHEIM, CA – Valor Computerized Systems today named Ori Braun as president of its North American unit. The announcement came on the eve of the Apex trade show. Braun was president of Life Watch Inc., a $40 million medical electronics company. He founded including Helios Software Engineering Ltd., a maker of simulation products, which he sold to Cadence Design Systems in 1990. Later he was director of the Cadence Analysis Group. He succeeds Valor Inc. founder and president Chuck Feingold, who joins Valor’s board. In a press statement, Feingold cited Braun's "entrepreneurial flair and proven track record in successfully growing companies." “Valor is on its way to become the leader in the assembly market, offering superb NPI and MES solutions built on first-class technology," Braun said. "As the vendor of choice for global electronics companies, the company’s vision in helping manufacturers rise to the challenges of change, complexity and competition presents a great opportunity to further Valor’s penetration in North, Central and South America.” Valor also announced its 2005 earnings. The EDA firm reported a record year for revenues, up almost 20% over 2004.
