High Speed Placement Head

Dispensing Software

Version 4.7 of Fluidmove for Windows NT (FmNT) dispensing software now features Delta z dispensing. By measuring the surface height in multiple locations along the programmed pattern before dispensing a continuous path, the system reportedly ensures a consistent dispense gap on uneven surfaces and more precise dot and line dimensions. Delta z is ideal for close dispensing tolerances on applications such as wafer level packages and optical display components. In addition to the ability to dispense fluid along x, y and z paths, the new version integrates Asymtek's new Calibrated Process Jetting (CPJ) system with its high-speed DispenseJet technology. According to the company's press release, the DispenseJet has advantages for dispensing surface-mount adhesives and underfilling small fillets. CPJ builds on Asymtek's Mass Flow Control Calibration to help the user control the volume of material in a jetted line, making jet dispensing of encapsulants and underfills simple to program and use.

Stencil System

Automatic Rework System

This patented automatic rework machine has added vision alignment system (VAS). The tool has a stationary beam splitter. An accurate, friction-free x,y planar table is integrated with high resolution z-axis control. Fast, linear table movement enables large substrates to be accommodated, as well as a provision for component storage in trays or waffle packs. The pivot arm with component rotation capability is automated for hands-free placement. Sensors on the pivot arm allow component placement with defined force via z-axis motion of the substrate. Pressfit Assembly Equipment

The AP3 processes both press-fit and odd-form pick-and-place applications on one machine. The system fully automates the press-fit application of connectors, minimizing human errors and increasing throughput. Handheld Scanners 

The MS-Q series of hand held imagers is designed for reading low-contrast 1-D and 2-D codes in industrial environments. The system uses custom optics and software decode algorithms. Common applications include reading 2-D codes on printed circuit boards or small components at test stations for work-in-progress tracking. The system imagers specialize in reading symbols directly marked on reflective surfaces or low-contrast substrates such as metal, plastic, rubber and glass. Universal Support System

Red-E-Set Auto is a motorized substrate support system for stencil printers and placement machines producing single- and double-sided surface-mount and mixed technology printed circuit boards (PCB). ‘An End-to-End Solution for Assembled HDI Rigid-Flex’
