NEWARK, NY -- The state of New York has pledged $5 million in aid to IEC Electronics, which will in turn create over 360 local jobs over the next five years at its new plant here.

The opening of the new facility is expected to occur in the middle of 2019, said Jeff Schlarbaum, president and CEO last week. Our fiscal 2018 second quarter results clearly demonstrated progress as we continue to navigate our path to growth.
