HELSINKI -- Scanfil raised its outlook for sales and operating profits for 2018, citing stronger-than-estimated customer demand.

The EMS company approximately 545 million to 585 million euros ($672 million to $721 million) and the operating profit 36 million to 40 million ($44 million to $49 million).

Scanfil said customer demand is expected to be for the remaining part of 2018 which partly improves Scanfil’s outlook for its operating profit.

The company previously guided for revenue of 530 milion to 570 million euros and operating profits of 33 million to 37 million euros.
