TAIPEI -- Foxconn Electronics announced consolidated revenues rose 7.35% year-over-year in July on higher consumer electronics sales, offset in part by lower communication product demand.

The world's largest EMS/ODM reported revenue of NT$315.1 billion ($10.62 billion), down slightly from June. Year to date sales are now up 1.64%.

Separately, a Foxconn subsidiary will take a roughly 5% stake in PCCW International OTT Holdings, a provider of internet media and entertainment services. Foxconn will invest $30 million for the stake.
